Thinners and solvents are liquids used to reduce the thickness of paints and coatings, making them easier to apply. They help achieve proper flow, sprayability, finish and drying performance. 

                                                                       Thinner = adjusts paint viscosity.

                                                                       Solvent = dissolves or cleans materials and can also be used in coating formulations.
